Snefnug
SNEFNUG is a super-soft, lightweight, airy, and voluminous “blow yarn” made exclusively from natural materials – a fine blend of 55% baby alpaca, 10% extra-fine merino wool, and 35% organic cotton.
The yarn is spun in an Italian family-run business. The merino wool used is, of course, mulesing-free. The baby alpaca comes from Peru, and the cotton from Egypt.
SNEFNUG consists of a cotton tube that serves as the core, into which a fine blend of merino wool and baby alpaca is blown. This creates a durable yet super-soft, exclusive yarn.
It is ideal for knitting baby and children’s garments, as well as for the current oversized knitwear trend – for example, for sweaters, cardigans, scarves, and hats knitted with chunky needles.
